Q. What ages do In-Tents Slumber Parties cater for?
A. Our tents best suit children 5-14 years old.
Q. Do we supply air mattresses?
A. No. At In-Tents we only use quality foam mattresses with washable covers. While air mattresses are significantly cheaper to purchase, we do not want to compromise the quality of your child’s party with hassles that can come with air mattresses i.e. Comfort, deflation and coldness.
Q. Do in-tents deliver and pick up?
A. In-Tents will deliver and pick up free of charge to any location within 30 kms of Carrum, Melbourne. A delivery fee will apply outside of this.
We will contact you the week of your party to confirm the delivery and pick up times for your location.
Q. Is setup included in the cost?
A. We like to make your party as affordable as possible, therefore set up is not included, however we can provide set up for an additional $50 (5 tents). We take care of setting up all tents and props. All you must do is pack up after the party ready for pickup.
Setup takes approximately 1 hour. You can choose to set up yourself in any arrangement you prefer, and we will deliver your In-Tents package all ready to go. If you choose this option, In-Tents requires equipment to be packed with care ready for pick-up following your party.
Q. How much room will I need?
A. Each tent requires approximately 2 metres in length x 1.2 metres in width which allows room for the breakfast trays also (foam mattresses). There are many ways to set up the tents depending on how many you have and how much room you have to work with. For the mattresses for children over 10 years old, please allow approximately 2.3 metres in length and 1.5 metres in width.
Q. How long do I have the tents for?
A. In-Tents will organise a mutually convenient time to deliver and pickup the package. Delivery can be arranged Thursday - Saturday and pick-up can be Sunday or Monday.
Q. Can we hire extra tents?
A. Yes. Extra tent sets are available to hire for $40 each.
Q. Do In-Tents provide pillows?
A. For hygiene reasons we do not supply pillows. Each child is required to BYO pillow.
Q. Am I responsible if part of the package gets damaged during the party?
A. In-Tents require a $100 deposit prior to the party which will be refunded within 24 hours of pickup. In the event an item is damaged and requiring replacement, In-Tents reserves the right to utilise the deposit to replace/rectify any damages caused
Mattresses are not water proof. Please take every care to prevent children from drinking directly on the mattresses and utilise the breakfast trays for food and drinks.
Q. Can I setup the tents outside?
A. In-Tents requires setup to be under cover at all times and protected from dirt and rain. A garage or enclosed pergola that are protected from such is acceptable. Pets are to be kept away from equipment at all times.
Q. Do I need power?
A. No. All of In-Tents lights are powered by batteries which are included in the pack. It is a requirement that you do not attached mains powered accessories to the tents.
Q. Is the linen laundered?
A. All foam mattresses are fitted with protectors. All fitted sheets, blankets and dressing gowns are laundered following each party. Tent canvases are removable and machine washable and are laundered when required.
Q. Can I pay using Mastercard or Visa?
A. Unfortunately we can only accept EFT or COD (balance of hire costs). All details are provided when you book.
Q. What is the cancellation/refund policy?
A. The $40 deposit required to secure booking is only refundable with 28 days written notice of booking cancellation.
Balance is due 7 days prior to party date and is not refundable (or COD of hire equipment with prior agreement)
We take your privacy seriously. Your details will only be used by us to contact you. In-Tents slumber parties will not share your information with any other parties and will delete your records with us if you request.
We will not post photo's on social media without your approval and will not post photos of children wihtout consent from all parents.
